What is a 10cc relationship?
Q. I read this on a video my step-daughter made for a gf of hers. It said "I know this is only a 10cc relationship but...". The video is kind of a tribute to this girl and seems more like a video from bf to gf. Her dad and I are really curious if this is common "slang" terminology or an inside term only the 2 of them know the meaning of.

A. I heard that 10CC created some instrument. This is years ago I read that. What it was called escapes me now. I pulled this off a website: 10cc's fourth album, how dare you, is the last to feature the original lineup of Eric Stewart, Graham Gouldman, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley. Godley and Creme left shortly after the recording of this album to explore the commercial and artistic possibilities of an instrument they invented, the Gizmo.The Gizmo's eerie drone is all over this record, slotting in beautifully with the multilayered vocal arrangements which were the band's other sonic trademark.

He's singing about a broken heart, her picture still hangs but he's not in love, the song itself is very instrumental with the singer repeating the same verse thanks to every one who answered.
